Arcadia Yachts has teased an all-new motor yacht series. The first model presented from the series – which will range from 20 to 40-metres – is the 29.34-metre A96. Arcadia Yachts has nearly completed the lamination of the first unit from the series and will start construction later this year. She’s expected to make her world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2023. 
“I’m really proud to present the new A96, the first model from the new era of Arcadia Yachts,” Ugo Pellegrino, CEO of Arcadia Yachts, said during the press conference. “The A96 is the first from a brand-new series of yachts that we’ll develop over the next few years.”
The concept for the series, as envisioned by Arcadia Yachts, places wellness at its core and maximises the connection with the natural surroundings without compromising on livable space. Even with a length of less than 30-metres, the A96 offers close to 400 square-metres of space; she’s cavernous and, thanks to glass, sliding walls that wrap both her main and upper saloon, convertible. 
Another core feature of the A96 is her beach area, which is generous in size thanks to fold-out bulwarks that create wings, and well connected to the main deck – even the main saloon, due to the ingenious sliding doors. 
With wellness being the mantra behind her design, Arcadia Yachts ensured that owners and guests have ample opportunity for activities, opting for loose furnishings wherever possible. The A96 also has a very generous 48 square-metre foredeck, which can serve as the ideal yoga retreat. 
The Italian yacht builder has maximised her 7.87-metre beam, and carved out accommodation for as many as 12 guests and five crew. Lobanov Design was entrusted with the interior design, opting for a clean and minimalist styling that made great use of natural and eco-friendly materials throughout. 
The A96 has an organic look and feel, with marbles, woods, fine fabrics and overly sculpted furniture and decor. 
The first A96 will be equipped with four Volvo IPS 1.200 engines (or optionally IPS 1.350), that are expected to deliver a top speed of 24 knots. When cruising at the recommended speed of 16 knots, the A96 should have a range of 600 nautical miles. At 10 knots though, she’s expected to have a 2,000 nautical mile range.
